#032 - swim with dolphins or beluga whales
May 18, 2007 (Thursday)

The best experience EVER.  While I was in Bermuda I swam with the dolphins.  I was debating doing it since it was sooo far away.  We docked at the Northern part of Bermuda & the dolphins were at the Southern part.  It was a trek & took the entire day since "you can't get there from here".  I took a ferry there but had to take a bus coming back.  This picture looks like we are both looking at the camera.  :)

The tank lead into the ocean - really salty water.  I was in the tank with 4 other people.  We got some alone time with the dolphin, did a trick with them & then swam with them.  We interacted with 2 dolphins, Lilly & Cirrus.  I got to feed them.  We spent about 30 minutes in the tank with them.  They feel like web rubber.  I wish I got to pose with the dolphins a little better but it was awesome!

I had soooooo much fun.  Lilly really got me good when she splashed me with her fins.  This is a great picture.  Yes, it was expensive, $200 for 30 minutes but it was an amazing experience.  I would definitely do it again.  Next month I am swimming with beluga whales.  :)

#033 - get another stamp in my passport (maybe even 2)
May 15, 2007 (Tuesday)

You know every stamp in my passport has been "entry by sea".  Yup.  I have 4 stamps in my passport now.  3 from Bermuda & 1 from Nova Scotia.  I am probably going to get another stamp from Nova Scotia this summer.  I need to go somewhere different.
#007 - get a family portrait done
May 14, 2007  (Monday)

We went on a family vacation, first one in over 15 years!  Cruise to Bermuda.  On the boat there were photographers taking professional pictures.

We even got a casual family picture too.

#076 - pay off car
May 8, 2007 (Tuesday)

Today I made out a check for $722.60.  It was my final car payment.  I had planned on paying it off earlier but other bills got in the way.

UPDATE:  May 21, 2007 -
Received Title.  It's really mine.  Went to get my car inspected... it got REJECTED!  It failed the emissions test because the check engine light was on.  Need to get that fixed.  It's always the way huh?
#085 - go a month without eating fast food.
March-April 2007

After coming back from Kripalu I felt great.  I was no longer addicted to soda & was loosing weight.  To be honest, I was afraid of food for about a month after I came back.  Unfortunately my schedule makes avoiding fast food pretty difficult.  I've cut down on fast food stops a lot though.  I definitely have to go back to Kripalu!!
 #086 - drink 8 glasses of water a day.
March-April 2007

Since I wasn't drinking soda I was drinking water like a fish.  I was drinking at least 2 32 ounce bottle of water a day.  I need to start that again.
#084 - go a month without drinking soda.
March-April 2007

I knew I was going to Kripalu & they didn't have any form of soda there.  I've been deathly sick before going without soda, so I weaned myself completely off soda.  I didn't even miss it either.  I started 2 weeks before I went & I continued almost a month after I came back.  Unfortunately I have begun drinking it again :(  I have to go back to Kripalu!!

#055 - go skinny dipping
March 24-25, 2007

I was nude in a hot tub TWICE.  Well the first time I wore my bathing suit in the pool but took it off after 10 minutes.  The next day I didn't even bother with my bathing suit.

#013 - go to a day spa
March 23-March 25, 2007

Not really a day spa, even better.  I spent the weekend at Kripalu - a yoga & health spa.  I got a treatment each day.

Friday - Kripalu Bodywork (1 hour)
Our yogic approach is captured in this soothing Swedish massage that enhances the integration of body, mind and spirit. Guided breath awareness and a meditative focus on physical sensation stimulate energy to flow throughout the body and release. Profoundly relaxing!

Saturday - Energetic Integration (1 1/2 hours)
Using light touch and energy work, this multifaceted modality works with the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. It integrates life experiences where blocks have occurred consciously or unconsciously to allow acceleration of the healing process.

The light touch of the therapist's hands facilitates a flow of subtle electromagnetic energy, guiding it to areas of tension, trauma, and injury. Blocked energy in your body is released, promoting deep relaxation and an enhanced capacity to experience life.

Sunday - Ayurvedic Body Treatment (1 1/2 hours)
The Ayurvedic Body Treatment begins with a dry, silk glove lymphatic massage, followed by a warm herbalized oil massage. You will rest shortly before your therapist applies a mask of purified and herbalized clays collected from deep in the earth in remote regions of India. This mask both nourishes and detoxifies leaving the skin smooth and silky. The session is closed with a hot towel wipedown, at which point you will be given a robe and escorted to the shower to rinse off the remaining clay.

My skin has never felt so soft.  I have baby soft skin!!

#046 - enter photoshop/creative contests online
December, 2006

Well it's not a contest per say but I have submitted secrets to LJsecrets.  I submitted 3 so far.  It's like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
